Archeology
Today the archaeological section of the Daphne Museum has a collection of about 500 cultural finds of absolute value. Acquired over years of passionate research and regularly reported at the Archaeological Superintendence, these finds are preserved in full respect of the work following the appropriate norms of protection and conservation.
Our collection consists of about 500 pieces of different origin and nature, and includes artifacts from distant eras and civilizations: from the Tibetan manuscripts to incunabula, porcelains the Ming Dynasty to the Byzantine crosses, from the works of classical greek-Roman to the wonders of 'ancient Egypt.
Daphne Museum can also boast the presence of real rarities of universal value including the famous "Scarabeo di orione" (translated. “ Beatle of orion”), the object of study of many experts of global significance.. See detailed file.
